Ian Dobbs (Lobba) - Bass Guitar & Vocals

Lobba is a bit of a rock legend in Newark, and whenever we play locally his fan club gathers in front of the stage chanting ' Lobba, Lobba ........'.

He has been knocking out the odd tune on the bass since school days. 

Having done his apprenticeship in a school band called 'Exit', and then auditioned as singer (yes, surprised us too) for Paralex. When the bass player left shortly afterwards, he took on bass guitar for the band as well and had many a happy and reasonably successful year with Paralex. When he got married, that avenue of pleasure was closed off to him, so he sold his gear and became very sad.

In 1988, he got divorced, which allowed him to rejoin the rock circuit with a band called Marauder, which also included Neil on drums. The Business rhythm section was born!

Ian plays bass guitar, and contributes lead and backing vocals. Still rocking, still getting the buzz and still eating kebabs.
